So yesterday my dad called from ON to tell me that my sister had gone into labour that morning and would be having the baby anytime.  Just like a guy he didn't think half the info was important.  But I finally got that she was induced several hours after her water broke - due to there being no progression in her labour.

My neice arrived at 4:13am this morning, weighing in at 6lbs 7oz.  [a week and a half early according to the due date - but perhaps a little earlier than that due to an excess of lanago and other signs]  She initiall had a little respiratory distress which had her stay in the nursery for a bit - and also led to the conculsion that the due date may have been off and her arrive a little earlier than thought.  Later in the day she was with her mom and doing fine.

Welcome Kayla Alexis or is that Taylor Alexis?  I've been given both names for this sweet little bundle that is much to far away right now for me to hold, I'll have to get verification on what it is though.

Well I finally decided to give this a try after my great friend E told me about it - I've been busy and / or putting it off.  Getting my calendar and all set up that is.  So let's see how we do with this  - being new and all.

I had a great time this weekend.  Saw E for the first time in sometime  but you know how great friends are, doesn't matter how long it's been.

We did up a package  for a friend out of province.  I'm glad E came over and let me help her with it.  Hope our friend enjoys all of our work.
